Our Mission
The San Francisco Firefighter Veteran's Association is an employee group of the San Francisco Fire Department that is dedicated to serving the needs of the military veteran community in the San Francisco Fire Department, the city and county of San Francisco, and across the United States of America.
Our group is comprised of employees of the San Francisco Fire Department who have served or continue to serve in the US military. It includes firefighters, emergency medical technicians, and paramedics.
We also welcome non-veteran supporters in the San Francisco Fire Department, as well as veterans who seek employment in the fire service. We advocate for the hiring of more veterans in our department, as well as ensuring that the rights of veterans are protected.
