On Saturday March 24, 2018, the San Francisco Firefighter Veteran's Association hosted a Big Brother Big Sister day at Treasure Island along with the SF Fire reserves. It was a chance for kids from all sorts of neighborhoods to learn about the fire department and experience what it's like to be a firefighter. On March 6th, the Golden State Warriors held a Latino Heritage Night. Los Bomberos, the Latino employees group of the San Francisco Fire Department was invited to participate.
